Original Name – Offizier Heim Trüppenübungsplatz Bergen
History – Was literally a camp/mess built for the troops that would exercise on Bergen/Hohne Ranges. This camp would accommodate one of the divisions, with Fallingbostel accommodating the other. It is now home to 7 Armoured Brigade.

Lake View – which is no more. Not sure why we filled the lake in and didn’t use the building as a mess. Nor am I surprised either. Grandeur? What’s that? Answer – mosquitoes.
