Summer 1945-1946

HMS Princess Caroline is believed to have been in the Eckernförde area from the end of hostilities in 1945 until at least 1946. Further firm details are awaited at this time. It is also thought that the Aquatic Warfare Training Unit for BAOR was also in this area either under the control of HMS Princess Caroline, or as a separate establishment.
